The Beta-Chi Chapter is a non-profit organization that is focused on fellowship, leadership, scholarship and service. Established in 1903, Beta-Chi has helped many young men grow into today’s leaders. Our chapter has the following funds which welcome your support: Annual Fund - We need to keep our Alumni/Parent programming self-supporting. Every gift will be applied to our $15,000 in annual expenses for invitations, newsletters, and correspondence, as well as events like Homecoming. Please make your check payable to the Alumni House Fund. Donations are not tax deductible. Building Fund - Gifts to the building fund will help pay for improvements to the living portion of the facilities including the bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms. Please make your checks out to the Alumni House Fund. Donations are not tax deductible. Educational Building Fund - Gifts to the Educational Building Fund pay for improvements to the educational portions of the facilities including; computer room, conference rooms, study rooms, library, computers, software, copy machines, networking, desks, chairs, and any other educational building need. Please make your checks out to the Beta-Chi Educational Foundation. Donations are tax deductible. The Beta-Chi educational foundation is a 501(c)(3) educational fund that can receive matching corporate funds. Scholarship Fund - Gifts to the Scholarship Fund provide scholarships to Kappa Sigma pledges at the University of MO-Rolla who meet certain academic requirements. This fund is used as a recruiting tool and has helped Kappa Sigma to become one of the largest fraternities on campus. Please make your check payable to the UMR/Kappa Sigma Educational Foundation. The money is managed by the University Endowment fund and distributions are controlled by the Beta-Chi House Corporation. Donations are tax deductible. The UMR/Kappa Sigma Educational Foundation is a 501(c)(3) educational foundation that can receive matching corporate funds. I Want To Make A Donation To The Chapter Planned Giving – If your not interested in making an immediate contribution to the chapter, but would like to be a part of shaping the chapter’s future and donate at a later time, a planned gift maybe a better option.
